At Helping The Unfortunate Inc., we provide compassionate, respectful support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and people recovering from difficult life events. Founded in 2020 through personal experiences of loss, health challenges, and hardship, the organization was created after recognizing how many people struggle silently with everyday tasks and often go without the help or companionship they need.
Based in Stedman, NC, we offer dependable assistance both inside and outside the home. This includes garden setup and maintenance, lawn care, yard cleanup, minor home repairs, junk removal, light household support, and general day-to-day help. Beyond physical tasks, we also provide companionship and emotional support—being present, listening, and helping reduce isolation.
Our mission is simple: to help people feel supported, safe, and valued in their own homes, and to remind them they are not alone.
